Privacy & data protection
How we handle your visit, enquiries and reviews. Updated 7 October 2026.

Visiting the site
Cloudflare provides the hosting, content delivery and technical protection for this website. When your browser requests a page, image or audio file, Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information and technical error or security information.
This processing serves our legitimate interest in delivering a working, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Technical records are kept only as needed to deliver the service, investigate errors or security incidents and meet applicable legal obligations. Provider-managed logs and backups follow the applicable service retention settings.
Enquiries and custom production
We process the details you choose to submit: email, name where requested, artist link, selected track and optional Ableton project, brief, reference links, budget and requested deadline. We also record the submission time. Required fields are needed to answer your request; you can browse and listen without submitting a form.
We use these details to respond, prepare a quote and handle any resulting order. The basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps you request before a contract and for fulfilling a contract; other correspondence is handled under Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Sending a form does not subscribe you to marketing.
Enquiries are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database. Our current notification workflow also forwards enquiry details to a private Telegram inbox so the operator can respond. You can contact us directly by email instead of using the form. Email providers process the correspondence needed to deliver and answer those messages.
We keep enquiry correspondence while it is being handled and for as long as necessary to document the resulting arrangement or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We review stored enquiries and delete them when these purposes no longer require retention. Records subject to tax or commercial retention duties are kept for the applicable statutory period (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR); these duties can prevent immediate deletion.
Reviews
A review is optional. We use the email address and any order reference to check whether the submission relates to a purchase and to contact you about it. These private verification details are not published. Verification and moderation rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in presenting authentic reviews and preventing abuse.
We publish the rating, review text and chosen display name only with the separate consent requested on the review form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Do not include your release name, confidential project details or another person’s personal information in the public text. Reviews are stored in Cloudflare D1 and passed to our private Telegram inbox for moderation.
You can withdraw publication consent by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal applies going forward and does not affect earlier lawful processing. A published review remains online until consent is withdrawn or the review is removed; private moderation records are retained only as long as necessary for verification or a dispute.
Recipients and international processing
The operator, the hosting/database provider, email delivery providers and the Telegram service used for notifications receive data only as described above. Data may also be disclosed where a legal duty requires it, or to professional advisers where necessary for accounting or legal claims. We do not sell enquiry data.
Cloudflare, Inc. operates internationally, including in the United States. Its customer Data Processing Addendum describes the applicable processing terms and transfer safeguards, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses where required. See Cloudflare’s DPA and privacy policy. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.
Telegram is an international messaging service and its notification infrastructure may involve processing outside the EEA. Its privacy arrangements are described in Telegram’s privacy policy. A private chat is not a guarantee that processing takes place only in the EU.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or data portability where the GDPR provides those rights. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation, and you may withdraw any consent at any time. Send your request to [email protected]. We may need proportionate information to verify a request; do not send an identity document unless we explain why it is needed.
You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including the authority where you live or work. Our local authority is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated processing, and we do not build advertising profiles of visitors.
Payments and external links
The current website accepts enquiries, not online payments. It does not request card details or load an online checkout. Before any purchase, we explain the agreed payment and delivery arrangement. A future payment provider will be described before it is activated.
Sample-pack, music-platform and other external links only open when you select them. The destination service then processes your visit under its own privacy information.
